Our Mobile Car Inspection Service

Mobile Car Inspection

Our Central Coast based car inspector will travel to the vehicle at a time and place that is convenient for you and the owner. We Travel where you need us whether it's on the Central Coast, Sydney, Newcastle & Hunter region.

You don't have to attend as we will provide our in depth analysis to you once we're complete - which usually takes between 45 - 60 minutes.

Vehicle Road Testing

We're committed to providing the best mobile car inspection service in the area. At the end of our inspection we make sure to road test the vehicle to check that everything works the way it should. Road testing allows us to find any body or mechanical issues that may have not been present during the visual inspection.

We'll test the vehicle for any issues that may arise during different conditions where possible, to ensure that your car is going to take you where you need to go, safely and reliably.

Issues we've come across include suspension issue's, cleaned oil leaks that have returned, clutch and gearbox operational issues and many more.

Car Computer Scanning

Our industry grade diagnostic tools detect, read and monitor fault codes and computer data in real-time related to the Engine, Transmission, ABS, SRS, Sensors and Modules. If something is faulty and connected to the system, we'll find it. *

* Computer scanning is limited to the data logged at the time of the mobile car inspection. If the computer has been cleared, codes cannot be detected until they bounce back. For more information please review our Inspection Policies here.

Visual Mechanical Inspection

Using our 44 years of industry experience we visually inspect every mechanical part of the car to ensure it's quality, safety and integrity. This includes engine, hardware & electrical connections, transmission, brakes, front and rear axles, fluids, steering and suspension. *

* Mechanical inspections are visual only. We cannot remove or dismantle any components attached to the vehicle. For more information please review our Inspection Policies here.

Visual Body Inspection

These inspections include checking the working order and condition of all panels, bumpers, lights, lenses, rubbers, weather seals, windscreen, windows, doors and more.

This can also include previous damage repairs that have been made to your car. The inspector will then provide you with a full report on any issues that need to be addressed before driving away in your new vehicle.

Paint Thickness Testing

Paint thickness testing measures how well a paint job protects the car’s body. It can also tell us if there was any previous damage that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Our test helps us determine the estimated economic life of a car's paint job, whether it has been repaired or repainted, the extent of hidden damages, and the quality of those repairs.

Same-Day Pre Purchase Car Inspections

If you can't wait to drive away with your potential used car purchase or don't have a lot of time, we offer same-day mobile car inspections.*

* Same-day inspections are provided but limited to availability and location.

EV & Hybrid Battery Diagnostics

Catching a weak cell or failing module early can save you from being stranded, from an unexpected repair bill, or from paying too much for a car with a tired battery. You'll know the battery's true condition before you commit.*

Our battery health check includes:

• Per-Cell Voltages
• Module Temperatures
• Balance Histogram
• Battery Health: State of Health (SoH) & State of Charge (SoC)
• Isolation Resistance

* Battery diagnostics are limited to the data made available by the vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) at the time of inspection. For more information, please review our Inspection Policies here.

EV & Hybrid Charging Analytics

We assess how your EV or Hybrid charges under different conditions. This gives you a clear picture of its real-world charging performance, how long you’ll wait at the charger, and helps ensure your vehicle is in top operating condition.

Our charging analysis includes:

• AC/DC Power and Energy
• Charging Curves
• Battery Management System (BMS) Limits
• Average kW per Session
• Regenerative Braking Systems

Multi-Brand EV & Hybrid Support

Our diagnostic tools support all EV and Hybrid models on the road today, so no matter what you're looking at, we can give you the same in-depth insight into battery and charging health.

* Pre-2024 Tesla models are not as in-depth due to limited wiring support, and reports are limited to the data available through the vehicle's built-in dashboard interface.
